Goco Stay Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi

During my recent trip to Kyoto, I stayed at Goco Stay Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi. Although it was not my primary destination, I found this hotel to be extremely convenient for transit purposes. The hotel is located near a train station, making it easy to explore the city and nearby areas. the hotel is just a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae and Karasuma stations, providing quick access to popular attractions and landmarks. This proximity to transport options was a great advantage for a traveler like me.

One minor inconvenience I experienced was the distance between the hotel and the nearest train station. While a 12-13 minute walk may not seem like much, it did start to add up, especially when I had long and tiring days of sightseeing.

The a twin room overlooks city and includes an electric kettle, a refrigerator, and kitchenware.

We stayed at Hotel Goco Stay for a few days in Kyoto. The room had a small kitchenette, perfect for making tea and coffee. The location was incredibly convenient, just steps away from bustling streets filled with markets, shops, and food. Despite being in the heart of the action, the hotel offered a peaceful and calm atmosphere for a good night's sleep. The staff were exceptionally helpful, even securing a reservation for us at a local Wagyu beef restaurant.

It was easy walk to Teramachi Street, truly enjoyed its location so near to everything. Overall the service was excellent.

The room was new-fashioned and included a microwave, an electric kettle, and a fridge. It had a handy kitchenette available. The management was incredibly nice, as well as the staff.

The staff were excellent and best too. We stayed for 4 nights and liked the room, which was good-sized and compact with comfy bed.

I was amazed by the excellent location of Goco Stay Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi. Being just a short walk away from the bustling markets and shopping areas made it so convenient to explore. The room I stayed in had a washing machine, which was a game-changer for me as I was able to do my laundry effortlessly. The staff were incredibly helpful and spoke English fluently, making my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for its unbeatable location and excellent amenities.

This hotel blew us away! We were right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the market, yet our room was quiet and peaceful. We loved the convenient kitchenette and the washing machine in our spacious, clean room. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, even making a restaurant reservation for us. The roof terrace was a delightful surprise, with amazing views of the city.

The noise of other guests dragging their luggage can be a bit bothersome in the early morning hours.

The hotel location was fantastic with Nishiki market just around the corner and easy transportation available. This made it convenient for me to explore this city. The staff were always warm and hospitable, making me feel comfortable and safe. The cleanliness of the room was remarkable, with clear and simple instructions provided for the usage of the hotel facilities.

Over the New Year, I stayed at a fantastic hotel that exceeded my expectations. The room was equipped with a kitchenette and the location was unbeatable, with easy access to markets, shops, food, and transportation. The staff was exceptionally helpful, from arranging a reservation at a local restaurant to making us feel safe and at home during our stay. I also appreciated the in-room washing machine and fast internet.

While I had a great experience overall, it would have been helpful to have a phone in the room to contact the front desk. This could be especially helpful for guests visiting from overseas who may not have access to a phone.

I recently stayed at Goco Stay Kyoto Shijo Kawaramachi during a transit stop in Kyoto, and I found two features of the hotel to be particularly convenient. the hotel is located near a train station, making it easy to access different parts of the city. it is also within walking distance to popular attractions such as Kyoto Shiyakusho-mae and Karasuma, allowing me to explore the city without any hassle.

While I personally found the Japanese-style pillows filled with wood chips to be comfortable enough, my room partner did not share the same sentiment.
